Cottage Details
The Cottage is located in Beer at the top end of the high street just up from the Beach. Beer is a beautiful fishing village in East Devon on the Jurassic Coast. Wayside is a new holiday let offering 2 bedrooms. It has off street parking, log burner, wi-fi, BBQ area and great access to all the Village has to offer.
A short walk from the door and you are in the main high street which brings you to many restaurants, shops and pubs. Just a little further and you reach the gorgeous beach, where you can hire boats and the coastal path with walks that present glorious views of the coast.
Beer is the perfect getaway for relaxing, and Wayside offers you a home from home to explore your surroundings.
Vicki and Dave are your hosts, they live locally and can answer any questions you may have.
Restaurants, pubs, shops and the beach...all on your doorstep.
We understand that if you’re unfamiliar with the area then you’ll probably want to go out exploring. If you want to stay closer to home, then you can enjoy enjoy much of what east Devon has to offer without even leaving the beautiful village of Beer. This quaint fishing village offers a wealth of eateries, cocktail bars and independent shops.
Had a lovely week away in Beer and Wayside Cottage is the perfect place to stay with the family. A short walk to shops, SW coastal path and beach. Highly recommend

Lovely cottage and great location within a very short walk of the village and the beach. We stayed here with our 3 children and the landing area was a great extra space for one of the children to sleep on the pull out bed, it was pretty much the size of an extra bedroom. The cottage was bigger than we thought it would be. The parking is a nice big area at the property which is sometimes rare with cottage properties.

We have just had a fab 5 days at this lovely cottage, great location in a lovely village very close to the beach & beer in Beer. Especially loved the extra touches & great walking book, would highly recommend.

Just back from a lovely weekend at the cottage. A lot larger than we expected, with parking for 2 or 3 cars and a garden. Well equipped with Bosch washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher etc. Lovely wood burner in the sitting room, comfortable sofas and beds.
Just 5 minutes stroll to the beach.
Highly recommended & would stay again.
